Graybeard’s Custom Photography is owned and operated by Ken “Graybeard” Johnson and his wife Margie.  Ken has been a professional photographer for over 35 years.  His interest in “all things motorized” has lead him to photographing all manner of vehicles.  Custom show cars, drag cars, drag boats, customized motorcycles, racing of all sorts and even aircraft have been caught in his viewfinder.

Ken is affiliated with 15 national magazines and literally hundreds of his subjects have shown up in stories across the country.   He is also a member of the International Library of Photography and his photos have shown up twice in their reference books.   

In addition to motorized subjects, Graybeard also photographs landscapes and a variety of subjects selected by his clients. 

Margie Johnson has brought custom touches to the operation.  Using the latest in digital and printing technology, Graybeard’s can provide custom finishes, high lighting, touch-ups, and other custom features requested by customers.  In addition to photos, Graybeard’s can create custom calendars, posters, trading cards, and buttons.  Other services are available upon request. 

We provide custom photography services for a variety of subjects but much of our work has focused on motor sports. Custom cars and motorcycles, boat racing, drag racing, and many other “speedy subjects” have been caught in Graybeard’s lenses. Many of these photos have shown up in national magazines as parts of or as featured stories. We also provide on-site photos and services at racing venues throughout the seasons.
