Summer Camp - this is your best opportunity to earn merit badges.  Be prepared for the ones you want to earn by reading up on the requirements and doing any prep work, like writing papers, before you go to summer camp.  It will be a lot easier!

If you need a merit badge pamphlet, check in the Troop library, or check out MeritBadge.com.  You can also get the books at the Scout office.

Remember to see Mrs. Meredith about Geology Merit Badge (and a lot of other Science related badges for that matter) or Mr. Hesse about any of the Citizenship badges. 

Remember that if you are working on a rank below that of First Class, your fellow scouts can serve on your Board of Review.  Talk to them if you need assistance with any of the requirements or are ready for your Board of Review.
